Ther is so very much too say about her.. She is wonderful , she is MY dog, but, you can’t tell her that.. She was a x-mas gift from my husband (not a dog lover). But she chose him instead. She has turned out to be Mans Best Friend(haha). She isn’t afraid of anything , except the dark, I think she would attack a pit bull over him. We are traveling construction workers, Her first trip was 744 miles, she handled it great. Loves to go bye-bye. She rides the Harley with him, little goggles and all… But her greatest asset is Nursing… My husband was diagnosed with Hep.C about 6 mo. ago.. His treatment is going well.. But The meds. he is tacking make him very ill most of the time. And she is allways there for him.. Even the (non dog lover) says she is a great comfort. She will hardly ever leave his side. She has been a great blessing, I love her dearly, and so does he. I recieved a pet for x-mas last year, and lost her to my husband. But i think they found each other for a reason. Maybe someday i’ll have a pet to love me as much as Cinnamon loves him. For now i’ll settle for just being able to see those two grow closer. It’s been great watching him change from (dogs are a pain ) to ( Cinna is my baby, ) She’s a great dog, He’s a great guy , the best of both worlds……… Thanks N..

He has been such a joy to have around. He make’s us want to get up early in the morning and get going. He makes us go for our evening walks and when we talk to him He acts like he really know’s what we are saying.

Know I know that I can share what ever I want with him and it will stay only with him,

Just looking at his cute little face makes us smile. He has shown us what unconditional love is. He loves to sit in our laps and take a nap. We both feel great having him in our life. After my husband lost his golden lab RAJA he was very upset. Having fluffy has made him a happier person. We both have a freind who will always listen, and not judge….

A year ago, my husband gave me a beautiful little Pomeranian. I named her Coco. At first, I read a lot of books to learn how to train her to do things, and how to treat her well. With a lot of work, I taught her how to sit on command, stay, and walk beside me without a leash, and I’m still trying to get her housebroken.

She is so possessive, she wants me to be with her all the time, to pet her, to pay attention to her . And if i dont do it, she barks and touches my hand with her little paw.

Every time I’m watching tv, she´s right there watching it with us, and sometimes I put Coco in her bed, so we can sleep well. The good thing is that she doesn´t jump onto the bed…but she starts to go to my side of the bed and wants me to put her back. When she realizes that I’m not paying attention to her, she then goes to my husband’s side, and does the same thing. Finally, she runs to the other side of the room so she can see our faces and for us to see her, so we have to pretend we are asleep, and then she goes to bed. She does that every night.

When me or my husband go to the bathroom, she wakes up and hurries over to the bathroom door after we close it. She stays there, waiting for the one who is in there. So, she lies in the floor and peeks under the door to see our feet and know that we are still there. It’s so funny to open the door and see her in that position.

Always when I get home, she immediately goes to pee in the right place, because she knows that I’ll give her a treat.

We love her, she’s the most beautiful, lovely and smart dog I´ve ever seen.

Star was our first of many huskys and we just didnt realize how smart they really are. They seem slow and dum at times but they are not. They take in everything its like haveing kids and you have to watch what is said or done in front of them. Star had a litter of pups (6) and was in an outdoor box kennel with a swinging door. She would watch us open and latch the door and wow to are surprise she was letting herself and pups out for a midnight walk the pups where only 6 weeks old.. Well the morning i got up and she was gone i was franctic, i started to call her and did by suprise come back But with only 5 pups. So my husband and i started looking and listening . But could not find the pup, then the neighbor came up the driveway and asked if we lost a pup. well the horse on the other side of the stone wall did not welcome them and stomped the pup we got her to the vet and she had a broken front leg, colllasped lung and front pad on other front leg allmost riped off. she was a mess i thought for sure we were going to loose her. But we got her home and i would lie down with her and hold her till she fell a sleep. she had to be kept in a cage with very little activity she had to pins her upper front leg and they would pop out with to much move ment.
We named her Angels Lucky Star because she was very lucky. Angel is know 5 and my best friend. My Lab Bowser was so good with her. He hated puppies at that age because of all the biting and jumping they did. But he would roll over on his back and let her play with him he took good care of her and he has not let any other pup do that . We lost bowser 2 years ago and miss him terriably he was 14 years old.

thanks
she came into my life 3 weeks ago but it seems like she has always been in my life, that is why i suppose they calll shih tzu little lion dogs with big hearts.
Bubbles is a pure baby and i cant help but to spoil her, she spoils me with huge amounts of love and affection. I work from home doing tarot readings and Bubbles is with me all day long, she watches the tv, follows me everywhere i go, even into the shower she will sit there looking at me with her great big dark eyes just waiting for me to speak to her. At night time daddy comes home from work, there she is wagging away waiting for a hello and a love. she has filled our world withlove and meaning. if we ignore her she will bark and growl at us until she is sitting between us. she now sleeps downstairs, but 7am she barks for us to get up, every morning a big wag and kiss from our little baby girl, then she will tear around at 90miles an hour with excitement. every sunday off we go as a family to take her out, everyone who sees her is overwhelmed by her, and she loves showing off.
Bubbles will have many adventures and she will always be my special friend.

This Story is About My Pomeranian named Armani.. I recieved him as a christmas gift last year. He was born on the same day as my grandson on 10/19/2005. He has been a both a joy and a handful to have around. He thinks he is a cat, because as a puppy his playmate is our cat Sal. So he copies everything sal does. He climbs the fence, he sits on the window ledge, he chases birds and mice. He hates Mylar balloons. He is very protective of me. But he loves his co-owner Lil bubba (my grandson). Recently I was injured and when I arrived at home Armani instantly Knew something was wrong. He stayed with me the entire time i was bedridden. He would scratch at the blanket to undercover my legs which had a laceration and just want to like it. The more i covered the wound, the more fierce he would try to get to it. He loves wearing his football jersey but its to sad that he will never be able to attend a game, NO DOGS ALLOWED. He was very small when we got him at 6weeks, but after i had him nuetered he grew twice the size of his siblings. But we still love him just the same. Everyone that see’s Armani say hook that dog up to a sled, or did i give him any enhancements in his Dog food. I think its too funny. He also does this crazy howl which we have named his War Cry. Armani has made a huge difference in our family. We have always had pets since I was little, but this is the first time I understand the meaning of Unconditional Love. All I can say about Armani is I LOVE MY DOG

Thankyou,

Hi, for those for you who don’t know me, my name is BEN and I’m a Labrador/Retriever cross. My mum christened me Master of Curry’s Turn after the place we live as I was the only dog there. I was born on the 1st July 1994 and yes I know I’m an old man otherwise I wouldn’t be telling my story.

I was born in a wee place called Kilkeel and came to be with my present owner Jackie Redmond when she came along with her aunt who was looking for a girl puppy. I gave her those sad puppy dog eyes and she ended up taking me to my new home in Banbridge. Things where going fine until one day I noticed that my new mum wasn’t about for a couple of days. Then one day I was put in the car for what seemed like a very long ride; I had no idea where we were going. When we stopped I was carried into this big strange building with a funny smell only to find my mum in an odd looking chair with wheels on it. I couldn’t wait to rush up to my mum and give her lots of kisses and she gave me loving hugs, but then it was time to go and I was very unhappy that she didn’t come with us. I later found out that the place was called a hospital. Not soon after my mum was home with me again and things were well my mum started to play and teach me a lot of new tricks like sit, down and give paws. Then mum took me to this building where a strange man stood in the middle and told everyone what to do which I was told was obedience. Who did he think I was? I was obedient and I always did what was asked of me. One day my mum took me to this big field and there was lots of funny looking things in it which I heard them say was Agility equipment and I had to learn how to do it. I didn’t mind as it was fun and it kept me fit jumping over those things called jumps and a dog walk and a thing called an A ramp as well as a tunnel and, oh yes, a seesaw; yes those were good times and we all had fun.

Then our neighbour asked my mum if she would like to try me at retrieving for him at the local shoot and my mum started to train me to pick things up which I had already been doing for her but this was different. We went along to see what it was all about and I soon got involved retrieving whatever he shot, from hedges or water. But there was a problem - my mum didn’t like to take them from me and even wore gloves so she didn’t have to handle them as some were still alive. We did this for a couple of shooting seasons but mum never liked it so we never went back.

Suddenly it happened! One day my mum came home with a small black thing under her arm and told me it was my baby sister! Yes, a new black Labrador puppy called Tina. Well, things where a little hectic for a while but between us we soon got her sorted into shape and I was happy learning my agility. It wasn’t much later, September 1997 I think, that I had my first competition win in starters and I also had a 4th place in Novice that day as well. Things went from strength to strength for me in my agility and it kept me out of doing obedience which my new sister was now doing as she was always at mum’s side no matter where we went.

1999 was a good year for mum and me in Agility. At one show I even took three firsts at Castlereagh and all in all it was a good time. Then it happened again! Another black puppy (Sophie) arrived and I knew I had to do something special to keep mum wanting to spend time with me and not those girls. On 18th September 1999 I got lots of attention and praise when I won Northern Ireland Agility, Senior and Jumping Dog of the Year and my mum was very proud of me winning all three. It was the start of a run of major prizes for us and we kept getting into the top four or five which isn’t bad for a Labrador when there are so many collies in the sport.

Halloween 2001 was a bad time for me as I got really ill with some kind of poisoning and it was so bad my mum had to sleep on the floor with me at night to make sure I was O.K. But after a while I pulled through it and in late November was given the chance to become the next “Lassie”. Well maybe not that famous, but I did play a major part in the “Annie” production of the local choral society Christmas play; don’t anyone say that I am a scruffy dog; I was just acting of course.

Things went well for a couple of years until one day in May 2002 we were running a course when I got in my mum’s way and she fell and broke a weave pole and I knew I had to do something special to make it up to her. Well, it just so happened it was the day of the first ever standard dogs Championship Agility to be held in N. Ireland into which I had been entered along with some local dogs and a couple of Scottish one’s. We had to do a round of jumping and a round of Agility and the dog with the quickest and clearest round won, which to everyone’s surprise I did but I am not sure if I did the right thing as it only made my mum cry. That night we went to Scotland to compete in another championship show at the SKC only I was beaten into fourth place by three collies.

Mum told me later that I had to go to England and compete because of that win and I would be up against fourteen collies, so off we went to this big place called Crufts. It was full of people and I found it very hard to move around as the people kept trying to push past us. On the Saturday, the competition started and it was nice to get out and do something. We had to do two rounds again and all I am going to say is that I didn’t let my mum or myself down. We finished tenth which isn’t bad for a Labrador who was pushing nine.

Things were going well except that my sister Tina, who was trying to do Agility, had to give it up and become a lady of leisure as she was told she had a heart problem and couldn’t do it any more. My other sister Sophie was starting to get the hang of it but was a wee bit fussy on learning it; I on the other hand was still working away with my mum and still producing good results.

In May 2004 it happened again. My mum and dad came home with what I thought was a wee brown toy but it turned out it was another girl Labrador (Tara) and she’s a chocolate one who has turned into an elephant as she is bigger than me and keeps all hell going.

In September 2004 we were at the two day show in Lisburn and at the end of the first day’s fun at which I had won a rosette or two, my mum and dad were up the field playing and chasing the ball. When I went in to get it I got up but there was something wrong with one of my back legs so I went down again and when I tried to get up again I couldn’t, so my dad carried me which I don’t like anyone doing. The next thing I know I was on the back seat of the car with my mum and she was crying while dad drove. We arrived at a strange building which I later found out to be a vets and he looked me all over and stuck needles in me and put me into a cage where my mum left me. It turned out that I had dislocated a disc and had to have a big rest and take medication, but the worse thing was that the vet told my mum that I would not be able to do agility any more. After some rest and special treatment by mum, I am now fully recovered and am able to go on walks with all my sisters and even go swimming and running on the beach with them, although mum keeps a sharp eye on me.

The sad thing is I cannot do Agility anymore and have to watch my sister Sophie compete who I am very proud of as she is doing it quite well but oh how I wish it was me, still I suppose at eleven I should sit back and enjoy my retirement like all old gentlemen.
my heart couldn’t stand for that to happen. I’m in love with this breed. The Rottweillers I had before
Buddy were abused to the point that in order to save them I had to have them professionally trained to teach
me how to handle them properly, so their lives could be saved. When I got Buddy, I didn’t want to take him
that far, so with the knowledge I received from my other Rotts, I put it to good use with Buddy. Buddy was
abused also. I’ve never seen a Rottweiller, just being what they are suppose to be. Buddy turned out
awesome. I moved to the country, and he was a natural with horses. He loved horses, cows, deer etc. I
taught Buddy that cows, horses and deer were just big puppies. Buddy liked to ride merry go rounds, go down
slides with the kids. He loved life. He was a natural protector, only when he had to be. Buddy loved
everyone, and didn’t understand why everyone didn’t love him. Buddy died 2 weeks ago, and I can’t begin to
tell you how much I miss him, and all those who knew Buddy miss him. I wrote a tribute to Buddy and all the
things Buddy taught me about life.
A Tribute To A Teacher
From July 1999 to July 27th 2006
3:00am
This teacher has been the most valuable in my life.
He taught me to continuously give love,
no matter the cost.
To be friendly, but cautious.
That Arguing was never worth it
because no one wins.
No matter what scars we have,
be them visible to the naked eye
or within us, don’t allow them to
entrap us from living to our potential
Live life to the fullest within your potential
and to explore what that potential is.
Life isn’t about material possessions, because he
had few. It’s about the unquestioning love that is
held within our hearts, called unconditional love.
This teacher was an extraordinary teacher
He is a Rottweiller Named BUDDY!
Buddy never knew he was a Rottweiller
he thought cows and horses were Big Puppies.
You could almost hear the rabbits laugh when you
let Buddy out in the morning, because Buddy
didn’t know he was suppose to chase them.
Buddy Loved Everyone, and everything in life
except water. He would not go swimming, and
dreaded bath time. As far as he was concerned
Water was made for drinking only.
He is a mighty warrior, protected me only when
necessary…
As I believe that we are sprits having a human experience
I also believe that animals are spirits having an animal
experience, loaned to us for our entertainment, and
to teach us their perspective of what and how life should be.
This is truly not the end of Buddy, as he will return
in spirit, protecting me now within spirit world continuing
to be the mighty warrior he was on earth.
