Ther is so very much too say about her.. She is wonderful , she is MY dog, but, you can’t tell her that.. She was a x-mas gift from my husband (not a dog lover). But she chose him instead. She has turned out to be Mans Best Friend(haha). She isn’t afraid of anything , except the dark, I think she would attack a pit bull over him. We are traveling construction workers, Her first trip was 744 miles, she handled it great. Loves to go bye-bye. She rides the Harley with him, little goggles and all… But her greatest asset is Nursing… My husband was diagnosed with Hep.C about 6 mo. ago.. His treatment is going well.. But The meds. he is tacking make him very ill most of the time. And she is allways there for him.. Even the (non dog lover) says she is a great comfort. She will hardly ever leave his side. She has been a great blessing, I love her dearly, and so does he. I recieved a pet for x-mas last year, and lost her to my husband. But i think they found each other for a reason. Maybe someday i’ll have a pet to love me as much as Cinnamon loves him. For now i’ll settle for just being able to see those two grow closer. It’s been great watching him change from (dogs are a pain ) to ( Cinna is my baby, ) She’s a great dog, He’s a great guy , the best of both worlds……… Thanks N..

hello Ray about 18 months ago we were asked if we would like a little Chihuahua. She was 3 years old and a delightful little lady. She had a beautiful nature and was so friendly and loving. Unfortunately she had a few defects which did not effect her day to day living at all. One of them,as you can see her little tongue stuck out. She weighed 1.6 kilos. She just loved walking on the beach so we took her there whenever we could. Unfortunately just before Christmas she started having seizures, which at first were not too bad and she was fine after a sleep. Our vet keep a very good eye on her for us. But they did get worse and in the end our vet said the time had come to ‘help’ her and reluctantly she was put to sleep last month. In March the same people (who are breeders) asked if we would like a 5 month puppy to keep Muffy company and be a comfort to her and to us. Muffy and Pepe got a long just fine and spent lots of time sleeping together and enjoying the sun Pepe missed her so much but is settling down now and enjoying all the attention! Regards Joan M New Zealand

Our little bundle of joy (a tiny breed Chi) was a Christmas present for my twelve year old daughter last year. I said “NO WAY!” We have two cats, one is mine and the other my wife’s. No way a little dog is going to survive with the mean thirty pound cat! However, as it has been proven, they are so adaptable to other pets, Sparky Pedro Rodreguez fit right in. He is nine months old, perfect in every way and is closer to me than anyone. He sits at the door or looks out the window when it’s time for me to come home… I love him so much, and to think I was dead set on NOT allowing him in my house. He has brought so much joy into our home and entertains us every day. He sleeps at my side every night…And did I mention I’m not (wasn’t) a dog person before I met Sparky? My daughter is okay for the most part that he spends most of his life on my lap or sleeping with me. The entire family loves him and the cats actually play chase with him . Well, I’m a writer, so I could go on all day about my wonderful pet, but I thought short and sweet would be best. I will attach a photo of him at one day old (the only ones saved to my laptop), he now weighs four pounds and hasn’t gained an ounce in three months. He thinks he weighs one hundred pounds! I hope you enjoyed my story, I enjoyed sharing it with you. God bless, pastor David F.

She loves to sit up in the chair with me when I am using the computer. Sometimes she gets heavy in my arms. When she is not there she is in her bed on the floor beside the computer.

My full name is Hatch’s Chi-Chi Girl, all my friends call me Chi-Chi. I can tell that you are a friend by the way you smell, so please call me Chi-Chi. I am a very special girl, I was born in December 2004 in Montana. So I know all about the great out doors, the big sky and all that good stuff. One of my most favorite things to do is to find something, anything that smells really bad and roll and rub in it. So I have a tom-girl side to me. My pack decided to take me camping for the first time in Upper New York where we live now and let me tell you, I was not having very much fun. For one, I need the temperature to stay above 70 degrees, this is very important because, It just is. Well, the first night it was only 68, which is not 70, and it rained so much I had to sleep on my Mom’s pillow because there was water in the tent. Allot of water! I do not do water. It is fine for drinking, but I do not sleep in it! As you can see by my picture, I was close to death! What were they thinking? I did not have my cave or my warming bed, so I insisted that it either went above 70 or I was going home. Luckily they seen things my way and they made it warmer for me. I have to say, I am not to sure I am going to go next time if there is no where for my bed to plug into. After all a Girl has to have her standards. Right. Well, It is my nap time and I have to get my beauty rest. Keep safe, keep warm and don’t go camping without your warming bed. Trust me on this! Chi-chi.

My special little “Retirement Dog”

It was December 19th. 2005, I was still very much grieving the loss of Brady my 11yr. old Schnauzer, whom I lost in early Oct. I had just retired and Lucky my 13 yr. old cat, who also missed Brady very much, were trying to make the best out of an empty “Dog-less Home”. I had just retired in November and decided that perhaps after the Holidays, I would look into getting another dog - as I’m like a fish out of water without one, my feeling is a home is just a house without a dog. I wasn’t sure of what breed I wanted - not another Schnauzer, as I had lost 2 of them to the same disease, each at 11 yrs. old - plus with being newly retired - the grooming was getting to be an expense I could no longer afford. My daughter had talked about a Chihuahua, and even offered to buy me one for Christmas, as a man that worked for her was a breeder - I said “NO” they look like little rats, shiver and bark and I just need a little more to hang onto plus no puppy until after the Holidays, I’m just too busy. A neighbor of mine had recently bought a little cream colored, long haired 5 month old Chihuahua from another local home breeder, and he was so sweet, I just fell in love with him - no shaking and shivering, no barking just licking the “heck out your face” and wagging his tail until it almost fell off! When we met earlier on this day, she said to me “You should call this lady, she has a litter of all black puppies that I think are about 8 wks. old —-So I said OK, let me check it out - I called her and yes she did have a litter, just 3 puppies -2 females, 1 male - one of the females was already sold and she had just put her ad in the paper/on line that very morning - I wanted a male again and she wanted $500 for him - it was $200 more than my budget would allow, after talking with her for almost an hour, she finally said “If you want him, I will sell him to you for $400 - as I am more concerned about a good home than the money, and I know you will give him that”. I asked if she would hold him for me until I could get over there later in the afternoon, which she agreed too. So a trip to the bank, & grocery store to buy some food and a few new toys, “Just in case” I brought him home —-I headed over there to see what a Black Chihuahua puppy looked like and what kind of home he was raised in. It was Love at first sight, for all the above mentioned - they were the nicest, kindest people with several other Chihuahua’s of their own - who all acted the same way as the neighbors little guy - no shivering, no shaking, no prolonged barking, they just all “licked your face” and wagged their little tails —-I only had to hold him for 15 seconds to have him lick my face and it was a done deal. He was brought home that very day, and had his picture taken with me in his “Christmas Stocking” the very next morning —-all 3 lbs. of him. He’s now 10 months old, 7lbs, and not “a little dog”, only in size - he’s like “Velcro” and has become my constant shadow & best friend- and has never stopped “licking my face” & I know he was sent from “Doggy Heaven” by his predecessor Brady, to help fill that empty void, and give me another Furry Friend to love and share my life with.

My Chihuahua is a blessing sent from God. My Husband died March 22, 2005 after a 12 year battle with Alzheimer’s. I went to the Pet Shop on Friday before Mother’s Day and there was a litter of Chihuahua Puppies.
Â
I fell in love with this tiny puppy that was Champange Blonde and cute as it could be. I bought it and on the way home my Grand Daughter said since it is Champange Blonde lets name her Champange Bubbles.
Â
The name is perfect for her. If I was crying she would kiss away my tears. If I sat down she was in my lap. She sleeps with me and cuddles close to me. She has helped me through my grief by being there to cheer me up when I was sad and keep me laughing at her tricks.
Â
Bubbles can wink at you. This is a picture of her winking at my Grand Daughter that taught her the trick.
Â
I have heard of a lot of ways to remove stains but not many to remove tears. I found this tiny dog who has grown from 16 ounces to 5 pounds in a years time it the best tear remover there could be. She makes me happy when I am sad and keeps me from being alone.
Â
She is a special gift from God.
Â
Forever Friends, Teltiha

It was X-mas day 2003 when my daughter came home with this beauitful gold and blue gift wrapped little box, feeling like a small child filled with excitement I couldn’t wait to open my gift and to my surprise was this tiny 4oz little long hair chihuahua, she had golden brown hair and the most beautifullest green eye’s I had ever seen and the first words to come out of my mouth was Oh que chula which means how beautiful in english and that automaticly became her name Chula.Instantly she won over my heart. We became the best of friends all my kids are grown and gone and she became my little girl, she would give this tiny little yelp when she wantd to get on the bed and she had her own little pillow. At night when she would get up to do her business she would sit and wait for me to put her back on the bed then she would tap my shoulder so that I could cover her. When it came time to go bye-bye she would jump so high, barking her little heart out.Her favorite treats were chicken strips and when I would ask her if she wanted her chicken she would just bark and bark and jump up in circles.all she ever wanted was attention she always rolled on her back so you could scratch her tiny little belly.April 23rd I lost the queen of my heart,my daughter came to visit and when I opened the door my little Chula took off running to greet my daughter and a drunk driver lost control of his car on to my yard and hit my little Chula she died instantly and I have cried everyday for my baby since then. She will always remain the Queen of my heart
