Hello! I would like to introduce you to Franklin (more affectionately known as Frankie) He’s a 6 month old Beagle. This picture was taken after he had been sniffing around in the garden. He’s always sniffing, sniffing. He likes looking for worms in the back yard and I guess thats what he had been doing on the day I took this picture. He has a Jack Russell friend called Brandie who is 11 years old, what an age gap! Frankie encourages Brandie to be naughty and they always run around the back yard together (usually beating each other up with their paws!) He’s a real chewer, and he slobbers water all over the place when he’s been drinking. Often I’ve found myself covered in water when my little “running bear” comes up for a cuddle. He’s a wonderful addition to our family, with such a great big personality! Thanks for your tips and tricks, Heather & Rick

Best regards, Judy
I BOUGHT RED AND WHITE BEAGLE PUPPIES, ONE MALE AND ONE FEMALE ABOUT TWO AND HALF YEARS AGO.
WHEN THEY WERE OLD ENOUGH TO BREED AND HAD THEIR FIRST LITTER, I
WAS SO EXCITED TO LEARN ALL I COULD ABOUT TRAINING AND CARING FOR
THEM. THAT’S WHEN I FOUND, RAY COLEIRO’S DOG TRAINING MASTERY AN OWNER’S MANUAL. IT HAS BEEN A WEALTH OF INFORMATION IN GUIDING ME TO BECOME A BREEDER OF THESE BEAGLES.
OF COURSE YOU ALWAYS LEARN A LOT FROM YOUR PETS THEMSELVES.
FORTUNATELY FOR ME, I HAD BOUGHT A LARGE CAMPER FOR THEM TO LIVE IN AND FOR ME TO ALSO ENJOY THEM. MY HUSBAND AND I FENCED IN THE CAMPER FOR THEIR PROTECTION AT NIGHT WHEN WE WOULD PUT THEM UP.
WE ALSO INSTALLED THE IN GROUND PET FENCING SYSTEM, AROUND OUR ENTIRE PROPERTY, SO THEY COULD RUN AND PLAY ALL DAY. WE HAVE A POND THAT THEY ESPECIALLY LIKE. WE ARE BOTH RETIRED AND LOVE HAVING RUSTY AND ROSE TO PLAY WITH. WHEN I AM CARRYING FALLEN LIMBS TO THE BRUSH PILE, RUSTY CARRIES THE OTHER END FOR ME. HE SEEMS TO FEEL REALLY BIG ABOUT HELPING ME OR MY HUSBAND. THEY LOVE PLAYING TUG O WAR AND I LOVE IT TOO. THEIR PUPPIES WERE SO CUTE THAT I REALLY DIDN’T WANT TO GIVE THEM UP, WHEN IT CAME TIME TO, BUT THEY ALL WENT TO FINE HOMES AND MADE SOMEONE ELSE VERY HAPPY TOO. I TOOK LOTS OF PHOTOS OF THEM AND THE PUPPIES. THERE WERE SO MANY CUTE THINGS THAT THEY DID, THAT I FOUND MYSELF RUNNING IN FOR THE CAMERA QUITE OFTEN. I NOW HAVE SEVERAL SCRAPBOOKS FULL OF THEIR PICTURES TO ENJOY ALL THESE MEMORIES.
BEAGLES ARE SO LOVING AND HAVE SUCH IMPRESSIVE EYES, THAT YOU CAN
INSTANTLY READ THEIR MOODS. THEIR INTELLIGENCE SURPASSES ANY OTHER BREED OF DOG THAT I HAVE OWNED IN MY LIFETIME. SOME EVENINGS WE JUST SIT ON THE DECK STEPS TOGETHER AND SHARE SOME SILENT MOMENTS OF WATCHING THE SUN GO DOWN. I SIT IN THE MIDDLE WITH ONE OF THEM UNDER EACH ARM.
BY
JUDY C
