Molly A Little Angel

We were starting to look for a new puppy, a Pom, Chi or a Shih Tzu. It had to be black our last angel told me to look for a black puppy when she was gone. My husband kept saying we should get an older dog but small older dogs are very hard to find. One morning as I was getting dresses for work my retired husband yelled in to me there was a Pom for sale a few blocks away. He called and yes, they did have one black female. They never had a black Pom before. We went to see her and naturally we brought the tiny bundle home with us. The breeders had named her Molly. When I called her in the first time she told me she liked her name. So Molly it is. Oh my what a little fire ball she is. Runs like the wind, even out the front door and down the street. Till one Sunday this a young lady appeared where only seniors live in front of Molly and said something. Molly turned around and ran straight back to me. It was the last time she ran off, now if she gets out front she turns right around and comes back in as soon as we call her. Wanting to socialize her and be sure she liked riding in the car we took her everywhere with us. Well, we went too far and ended up taking her everywhere now even to church where she is a perfect little lady. We happened to stop and do some shopping in one of our favorite dog friendly stores. Molly got bored sitting in the shopping carts seat so I was holding her in my arm. When we got near the pet supplies this lady stopped me and said how pretty and well behaved Molly was and did I know any one who would like a 2 year old blond female Pom? Her sister had the dog and had it tied to a tree in her front yard because her new big dog didn’t like the little Pom. She was trying to find a home for it before the coyotes got it. I thought of one person who might take her. I went on my way to check out and two very sweet, loving and knowledgeable girls were talking to Molly and saying how sweet she was. The light came on I asked them if they were looking for a dog. The Mom said not particularly I told her the story of the Pom and I said good bye and went on. The girls came running over to me and said their Mom wanted more information about the dog. So I scoured the store till I found the shopper and told her about the family. She came running to tell them about the dog. As we left the store she was getting name address &and phone number so she could bring the dog to them. If Angel Molly hadn’t been shopping that day the perfect family for the little Pom wouldn’t have been found. Sil & Ed S. Molly’s Mom & Dad
