A year ago, my husband gave me a beautiful little Pomeranian. I named her Coco. At first, I read a lot of books to learn how to train her to do things, and how to treat her well. With a lot of work, I taught her how to sit on command, stay, and walk beside me without a leash, and I’m still trying to get her housebroken.

She is so possessive, she wants me to be with her all the time, to pet her, to pay attention to her .  And if i dont do it, she barks and touches my hand with her little paw.

Every time I’m watching tv,  she´s right there watching it with us, and sometimes I put Coco in her bed, so we can sleep well. The good thing is that she doesn´t jump onto the bed…but she starts to go to my side of the bed and wants me to put her back. When she realizes that I’m not paying attention to her, she then goes to my husband’s side, and does the same thing. Finally, she runs to the other side of the room so she can see our faces and for us to see her, so we have to pretend we are asleep, and then she goes to bed. She does that every night.

When me or my husband go to the bathroom, she wakes up and hurries over to the bathroom door after we close it. She stays there, waiting for the one who is in there. So, she lies in the floor and peeks under the door to see our feet and know that we are still there. It’s so funny to open the door and see her in that position.

Always when I get home, she immediately goes to pee in the right place, because she knows that I’ll give her a treat.

We love her, she’s the most beautiful, lovely and smart dog I´ve ever seen.
