My Roman is a spunky little Shitz Tzu, who I had a pleasure to add to my family about 18 months ago.
I am a single woman and was was diagnosed with hep C and just got a divorce.  I needed something to help keep me going, laugh and not get into the self pity mode.  So, I got Roman.  I was fatigued then and slept a lot during my one year treatment.  When I slept too much and Roman wanted attention, he barkedddd until I gave it to him. When I finished treatment and was healed, I got my energy back!! Roman did not know what to do, because I was cleaning, singing, taking Roman for long walks, and he just looked at me like “what’s going on”?!!
I would like to say that having Roman is always a pick me up.  Especially when I see him chase or bark at dogs 20x bigger than he is.
Roman has been a blessing to me.
