The Flexi 1-3 Mini Compact lead is great for smaller dogs. It gives you complete control. For instance, if you have your pet out in your yard to do their duty you might want to give them the full extension to let them have some space, however it adapts nicely if another dog comes in the yard you can retract the lead and keep your dog closer to you for more control.
